Thanks So Very Much

Thanks So Very Much

Happy Weekend! After a few starts and stops at daily gratitude journaling, I seem to have found something that works for me, an app called Gratitude365. It's easy to use, allows you to link a photograph to a specific day, and since it's on my phone, it's {almost} always with me. So naturally, with all the focus on gratitude, I need more thank-you cards!

Today's card is created with some beautiful supplies by Reverse Confetti, and follows a layout that is this week's sketch at the Freshly Made Sketches challenge blog. Here's the sketch:

Thanks So Very Much

I white embossed a sentiment from Posted Note Sentiments onto a simple stitched circle die-cut (I used a die from the Pop Up Circle Confetti Cuts set and embellished with a die-cut stitched heart from the XOXO Hearts Confetti Cuts set, some sprigs from the Leafy Confetti Cuts die set, and some clear sequins.

The plaid panel in the background is from Reverse Confetti's True Love 6x6 paper pad. The left and right borders have been accented with a white strip that I die-cut with one of the borders from the Edge Essentials Confetti Cuts set.

For one final accent, I tied on some Charcoal Striped Twine. I use that stuff enough that I'm starting to get paranoid about it. I've even extracted "Friends Don't Let Friend Overuse Black and White Baker's Twine" promises from a pair of trusted paperrafty friends. You, too, will let me know when I get there right?  ;)

I love this card! The contrast of the charcoal gray with the pretty pastels is beautiful. And I love the black and white baker's twine -- keep using it! So glad you joined us at Freshly Made Sketches again!

Everything about this card just works together beautifully! The patterns, the colors and the sentiment are all fabulous. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
